Privacy Policy

What we collect

SpendVet only processes data you explicitly provide: the contents of emails you forward to your private SpendVet address, files (receipts, bank statements) you upload, and recurring charge data from any third-party account you connect (e.g., Stripe).

We collect your email address and an optional business name during signup, plus standard service logs (IP, user agent, error traces) for security and reliability.

What we do not collect

We never request your banking login credentials. We do not access your inbox unless you forward a specific message to us. We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

How we use AI

Forwarded emails and uploaded files are processed by Anthropic (Claude) to extract transaction details and identify waste. Per our agreement with Anthropic, your data is not used to train their models.

Data retention + deletion

We retain your data for the lifetime of your account plus 30 days after cancellation. To request deletion at any time, email hello@spendvet.com.
